Meet Josh
How did I get here?
Growing up overweight all of my life gives me a very unique perspective on the world of health and fitness. My world was Pizza Hut and tacos, not lifting and doing burpees! In 2016 as I finally began my weight loss journey (after millions of failed attempts) I studied Nutrition in an effort to gain knowledge just for my own sake. I followed that up with studying to become a Personal Trainer, all just to help myself lose weight.
After completely changing my life and falling in love with fitness and wellness, I began teaching group classes and working as a Personal Trainer at Soules Sports & Fitness in Lee MA in 2018, where I continue to work today.
I also began experimenting with making protein bars and selling them at farmers markets in 2017, because I couldn't find one that tasted good and was actually healthy, with simple, real ingredients and a decent amount of protein. This brought me to making Reis Fit Bars still to this day, which I sell online and at my gym.
In the fall of 2024, my latest venture was creating the Reis Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit working with local schools to provide organic produce and healthier foods in the school systems, as well as helping provide healthy, Whole Foods for my community.
I am available for training and nutrition consultations in Berkshire County, but also enjoy working with people from any areas virtually! I create programs, write custom workouts, and coach you from wherever you are!
Feel free to browse through the website and reach out to me to help you in any way that I can!
